Da Wattpad alle librerie, finalmente in Italia arriva il cartaceo del libro più amato del social.

Personalmente la trama mi aveva stregato immediatamente però avevo paura, io come altre mie colleghe, che fosse molto trash, ma SORPRESA DELLE SORPRESE, non è stato così, rivelandosi una dipendenza.

Questa è la storia di Ginevra,Ginger per gli amici, una ragazza con problemi di socializzazione ma anche legati ad una grande perdita subita all'età di tre anni, quando suo padre muore per uno shock anafilattico in ospedale.

La ragazza insieme alla madre e al compagno si trasferiscono e lei inizia frequentare l'accademia Glasberry Academy, lì per un errore informatico si ritroverà a condividere la stanza con il misterioso Trevis.

Tutto sembra fuorchè un caso, infatti strani avvenimenti iniziano a susseguirsi, Ginger cercherà di scoprire cosa nasconde il ragazzo che sembra seguirla ovunque nonostante i due non riescano proprio a sopportarsi.

Misteri, segreti, coincidenze, morti che sembrano girare intorno all'app Offline.

Cosa nasconde Trevis? Chi è veramente? E cos'è Offline?

Avrei potuto farmi ingannare dai pregiudizi e lasciare che la paura del trash mi facesse perdere l'opportunità di scoprire questo libro, fortunatamente non l'ho fatto.

OFFLINE potrei definirlo un Giallo/Romance, infatti quest'ultimo non è assolutamente sdolcinato ma è presente in modo soft, un romance molto realistico, niente di irreale o inraggiungibile.

Non ci sono frasi d'amore tra il miele e il diabete, piuttosto le definirei frasi nate da un amore sbocciato dal dolore, dalla consapevolezza di avere la medesima oscurità, le medesime sofferenze e perdite.

Tuttavia alla fine del libro ho avuto la forte paura di esser riuscita a svelare alcuni misteri, ma se fosse vero, nonostante ciò, rimarrebbe una grande domanda irrisolta: "PERCHE'?".

OFFLINE è riuscita a conquistare la mia curiosità lasciandoci in sospeso con uno scoop di fine stagione che Netflix "scansate proprio".

Non vedo l'ora di scoprire di più sul prossimo volume che spero uscirà presto.

Personally, the plot had bewitched me immediately but I was afraid, like my other colleagues, that it was very trashy, but SURPRISE OF SURPRISES, it was not so, revealing itself to be an addiction.

 This is the story of Ginevra, Ginger for her friends, a girl with socialization problems but also linked to a great loss suffered at the age of three, when her father dies of anaphylactic shock in the hospital. 

The girl together with her mother and partner move and she starts attending the Glasberry Academy, there due to a computer error she will find herself sharing a room with the mysterious Trevis. 

Everything seems but a coincidence, in fact strange events begin to follow one another, Ginger will try to find out what the boy is hiding who seems to follow her everywhere despite the two just can't stand each other. 

Mysteries, secrets, coincidences, deaths that seem to revolve around the Offline app. 

What is Trevis hiding? 

Who is he really?

 And what is Offline?

 I could have been fooled by prejudices and let the fear of trash make me miss the opportunity to discover this book, luckily I didn't.

OFFLINE I could call it a Yellow / Romance, in fact the latter is not absolutely sweet but it is present in a soft way, a very realistic romance, nothing unreal or unattainable. 

There are no love phrases between honey and diabetes, rather I would define them phrases born from a love that blossomed from pain, from the awareness of having the same darkness, the same sufferings and losses. 

However at the end of the book I had the strong fear of being able to unravel some mysteries, but if it were true, despite this, there would remain a big unsolved question: "WHY?". 

OFFLINE has managed to win my curiosity by leaving us in suspense with an end-of-season scoop that Netflix "shunned". 

I can't wait to find out more about the next volume which I hope will be out soon.
